Immunisations and vaccinations

You will be notified when your baby or child is due for their vaccinations. Your baby’s first immunisations are conducted alongside your postnatal appointment approximately 8 to 10 weeks after your child is born.

Family planning

The doctors and nurses will discuss and recommend a choice of contraception. For routine ‘pill checks’, please Request an appointment with a nurse or submit a contraceptive pill review form. You do not need a doctor’s appointment unless you are a new patient.

Smear tests

We recommend that all women from the age of 25 to 65 should have a regular smear taken. You will be called for this, please then make an appointment with the practice nurse.

Heart/stroke, diabetes and asthma clinic

We encourage patients with these conditions to be actively involved in their own care and to regularly attend the clinics held at the surgery.
